How AUTOLINKER was made
A founder from the trade
AUTOLINKER did not appear overnight, and it was not built by a software company. Luis Ojeda has had the idea for more than 14 years: he had already discussed it with his lawyer. Before starting to build, he spent more than two months organizing the idea, until he had a document with the whole project thought through, because on paper the idea turned out to be far bigger than he had imagined. Only then did construction begin.
It was founded by Luis Ojeda, a paintless dent repair technician who knows the automotive trade from inside the workshop, with the vision of creating a company with the highest standards of quality in presentation and in user safety.
Luis decides what gets made, how it looks, how users are treated, what is right and what is not. Every decision was written down in his own words, down to the smallest detail, and he reviewed every screen himself.
That adds up to more than 14 years of the idea and more than three months of work, 14 to 17 hours a day (more than 1,200 hours): two months to organize the project and the rest to build it.
The numbers (as of October 24, 2026)
| Major decisions by the founder, numbered and written in his own words | more than 770 |
| Changes marked with his name in the application code (texts, colors, buttons, rules) | more than 800 |
| Application texts that did not go through his hands | almost none |
| Changes saved in the project history | more than 1,500 |
| Lines in the application | about 25,000 |
| Languages | Spanish, English and Portuguese |
| Automated tests run before every release | more than 400 |
Automated tests are programs that go through the application as if they were people: they sign up, post listings, buy and verify their identity, and they raise an alert if something broke. Nothing is released if any of them fails.
Built for the trade
AUTOLINKER is designed for the people who work with cars: parts stores, auto salvage yards, workshops, dealerships, car lots and trade professionals. That is why it has things a general marketplace does not, such as a storefront with each business's brand, catalog uploading done by us, and the RUDAC rules (Argentina's official registry of auto dismantlers) for salvage yards. It also has identity verification with DNI (the Argentine national identity document), its own server and hundreds of automated tests created specifically to test every action inside the app.
